The same idea can go for your centerpieces - make them gorgeous and romantic without breaking the bank. Here are a few ideas for some simple, on a budget, centerpieces...

Getting Started

Designed by the Bride has joined the world of blogging! We decided this would be a great way to share inspiration for those of you on our website creating flower arrangements and cakes. A blank canvas can be a little overwhelming... so here you will find pictures of event florals and cakes to help get your creative juices flowing!

Here we go with some garden style inspirations...

Found this great idea on for guests to hand the bride flowers as she walks the aisle to create her bouquet. I would recommend having the maid of honor or a bridesmaid have some ribbon to tie the flowers together. Great way to get a very natural bunch of flowers look.

Love this adorable "bag of blooms" from Martha Stewart Weddings.

Top it off with this fabulous cake by Her cakes are absolutely amazing and yes those flowers are all made of sugar!!! wow!
